Who is responsible

Office Digital is responsible for your personal data on officedigital.io. Contact for privacy questions: [email protected].

Data we collect

  • When you order: name, e-mail address, billing address and country, the products you bought, the license keys delivered to you, invoices and order history.
  • When you create an account: your e-mail address, password (stored encrypted) and saved addresses.
  • When you contact us: the details you give in the contact form, live chat or e-mail.
  • When you sign up for the newsletter: your e-mail address.
  • When you visit the Website: your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and how you arrived (for example from a search engine or an e-mail).

Why we use your data

  • To process and deliver your order, issue invoices and provide support (performance of a contract).
  • To keep invoices and order records (legal obligation under tax and accounting law).
  • To prevent fraud and keep the Website secure (legitimate interest).
  • To send newsletters and offers (your consent; you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To understand how the Website is used and improve it (legitimate interest or, where required by law, your consent).

Who receives your data

We share data only with providers that help us run the shop:

  • Stripe for payment processing
  • Klaviyo for e-mail newsletters and order e-mails
  • Tawk.to for live chat
  • Google for website statistics (Google Analytics) and page translation (Google Translate, when you choose another language)
  • Automattic (Jetpack) for website statistics
  • Cloudflare for content delivery and security
  • Trustpilot for showing our customer reviews
  • SliceWP for our affiliate program (affiliates’ data and referral tracking)
  • Our own analytics dashboard for order statistics, without storing customer data

Some providers are outside the EU; where required, transfers are protected by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep data

Orders and invoices are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Account data is kept until you delete your account. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Chat and support messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request.

Cookies

We use cookies that the shop needs to work (cart, login, chosen currency and language) and cookies for statistics, marketing and live chat. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the shop may then not work.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy in a portable format, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [email protected]; we answer within one month. You can also complain to your data protection authority.

Security

The Website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by us. We protect our systems against unauthorised access, but no transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Children

The Website is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
